Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker

Hey—baking great cakes, perfect pies, and flawless cookies is hard. But producing a batch of creative ice cream is surprisingly effortless! We received this exact ice cream maker as a wedding gift almost 13 years ago and it’s still going strong. It wasn’t Phil’s first such machine, but it quickly became the favorite. Simple in both function and design, it lets us quickly and easily whip up frozen treats that have impressed our friends and our tastebuds over the years. One of Phil’s favorite creations? Ancho chili dark chocolate gelato! The recipe varies (use any dark chocolate ice cream recipe and add ancho chili powder and ancho chili chocolate bar chunks) but the result is always an unexpected and perfectly-spicy spin on a classic dessert.
