Our Top Long-Haul Travel Gear

It’s time once again for a marathon travel day with a long-haul flight. This time, we’re leaving Denver and flying back to the Philippines by way of Los Angeles and San Francisco. So, 2 short flights, followed by a 14-hour+ leg across the Pacific.

We’re flying United, which has been our airline of choice for the past few years, although that might be changing next year if we lose our Premier 1K status.

With our current status this year, there’s always a chance one or more of us will get upgraded to first class for the short flights even though we booked economy plus, but we did use our loyalty points to upgrade to premium economy for the flight to Manila. So highlighting the differences between these classes will be one of our primary areas of focus in this episode.

The other focus is showing off some of our favorite travel gear along the way!
