Timeshifter Jet Lag App
Timeshifter is an app that helps you scientifically minimize jet lag on all your travels. The app was developed by top scientists who work with CEOs, politicians, and NASA astronauts, who clearly have to deal with big challenges when it comes to their circadian rhythms. We used it on our recent trip to India and it has a pretty impressive algorithm. You just enter your trip and flight details and some information about your own sleep and caffeine habits and it puts together an hour-by-hour plan and alerts you for every action you need to take: when to get light and avoid light, when to take caffeine and melatonin or avoid them, and when to sleep or be active. Its guidance is very detailed and in many cases, counterintuitive, which is probably why it works better than almost every other hack we’ve tried over the years: we’ve all been doing it wrong.
