Traveling from El Nido, Philippines to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
We have another marathon travel day ahead of us as we jump from the Philippines paradise here in El Nido, back to Manila for the better part of the day, and then jet off to Malaysia to mark our 22nd country visited in our worldwide travels. For our last day in Cebu, we’re making our third attempt at swimming with the Philippines’ iconic whale sharks. After canceling our first excursion last year and then coming up empty handed in Donsol a few months ago, we’re really hoping that the third time’s a charm as we head into Oslob this morning.

We are about to go to canyoneering through the rivers, waterfalls, jungles, and—you guessed it—canyons of Alegria.

We’re at Hong Kong airport but not for long because we’re about to hop on a 3-hour flight to take us to Cebu City (one of our favorite places in the world). Then we have a 3:45 minute drive to get us to the southern tip of the island where we’re gonna have an incredible few days at the Fantasy Lodge.
